There is a lot of uncertainty in the world right now. Every individual is having, and will have, a different experience of the ongoing global crisis. Whether you are at the forefront or not affected much, we at Imagine Clarity want to contribute by offering a selection of free meditation sessions to accompany you. To sit down and be present just ten minutes a day can make a big difference, not only for ourselves but also for those around us.
The Taming the Mind practices, part of the month-long Meditation Practice Foundations course, invite you to find some space and kindness for yourself and those around you. These practices, now made available for free, are relatively short and carefully guided, so it is easier for you to follow in the midst of your daily activities.
If you have already been practicing meditation, now is also the time to have confidence in your practice more than ever. You may dive into more advanced evidence-based courses such as Insights Through Mindfulness, whose sessions can be repeated for several days or weeks.
Let’s remind ourselves to take a minute or two and come back to the present moment as often as we can. When we do, it can feel like putting down a heavy weight we did not realize we were carrying. When we bring space between the thoughts, its qualities can appear. We might notice that we deeply care for those around us, our fellow human beings, and all the inhabitants of our small planet. This realization can bring meaning to every moment of our lives, even in difficult times.
